President

With a wealth of knowledge and experience in anesthesia billing and collections, Joe Jr. has an understanding in all areas of anesthesia practice management, including strategic planning, revenue cycle development, facility contracting, provider credentialing, staffing utilization, compliance, and provider education.

Joe has a high interest in technology and software development that helps create a well-organized operation.

Joe received his Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration degree from The University of Alabama. He has a background in the Healthcare industry working in medical sales prior to joining MBM.

Outside of work, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, playing golf, and fishing.

Director of Revenue

Soneaqua Flanagan joined the Medical Business Management team in November of 2000.  With over 30 years of experience in healthcare management and 22 years at MBM, she is nothing short of an expert.  She has vast experience with IT conversions, project management, workflow analysis, compliance, process, and quality improvement, managing teams and maximizing revenue. 

 Flanagan is skilled in Strategic Revenue Cycle planning with a Bachelor of Science focused on Healthcare Management. Flanagan is a certified professional coder (CPC), Certified Professional Biller (CPB) and Certified Professional Coding Instructor (CPC-I) .  She and her proven strengths include office management, medical collections, coding and advising/consulting. Flanagan is currently working on her Masters in Business with an emphasis on Healthcare Management.
